The Des Moines Public Schools offer a comprehensive education program for students in
grades kindergarten through twelve. In addition to regular education services, the district
provides instructional support services in the areas of English Language Learner Program
(ELL); Gifted and Talented (GT); and Special Education and Learning Supports. A variety
of options exist within the Des Moines Public Schools to ensure parents and students have
choices in instructional programs to best fit the needs of each child.
